The Waterfall

First topic message reminder :

A large waterfall going off making a river.

Yami opened her eyes slightly at the change of tune then closed them again

*continues humming*

Yami laid down and actually fell asleep there.

*Ami walked by the edge of the water, taking her sword out slowly*
So, not even going to let me relax after school?
*Shinzume set a hard glare on the girl and looked pointedly to the sword in her hand*
Yea, yea. I know. Practice.
*Ami lifted the sword, pointing it at the water. A small thin stream floated into the air. She quickly traced a circle in the air and the water formed a fast spinning ring. She kept it up as she looked at the big white wolf next to her*
Happy?

*Ami and Shinzume came to the waterfall and gazed at the top. For a second, Ami thought of trying to persuade Shinzume out of today's practice, but decided against the futile effort*
You're nuts.
*The wolf looked at Ami's bounded feet calmly, (It was planned that she could only use her arms for this exercise.) and jumped up to the nearest ledge on the waterfall's rock wall. Once there, she looked down and growled at the young girl below her*
Geez! Gimme a second before you get all impatient!
*Shinzume watched as Ami fixated her sword onto her back and scrambled up to the ledge she was waiting on. After she caught her barings, Ami looked again at the steep climb to the top.*
So, today's training...
*Shinzume tugged at the rope around Ami's feet to check that they were secure, and jumped to another ledge with gentle ease. Ami, meanwhile, blew her bangs out of her face again and eyed the slippery rocks, then her bound feet.*
...is climbing up there...

*walks over to the waterfall and sees the two of them*
"what ARE they doing?"
*stays behind a bit to watch*

*Ami hobbled over to the drop off of the cliff and awkwardly jumped to a higher ledge. As she brought herself onto the rockshelf, Shinzume hit her with a wave of water. It wasn't a small splash either. It was heavy and cold.*
Ahhh!
*Ami fell over the ledge, but managed to hold on at the last second. After she pulled herself up again with some effort, she glared at Shinzume*
It's difficult enough right now, pooch. Thanks, but please don't feel you have to go out of your way to make it harder.

*raises en eyebrow at them*
"why is she doing that?"

*Ami shook off the water and started climbing faster, trying to catch up with Shinzume so that she could get payback. Shinzume hurried up to a higher ledge*
Oh, so now you're running away?
*Shinzume didn't even look at Ami*
Fine.
*Ami smirked, pulled out her katana and forced some of the waterfall's cascade to hit Shinzume. It wasn't anything major, just a small amount to drench the wolf. Before Shinzume could do anything, Ami jumped up another ledge and then pulled herself up another. When she reached Shinzume she noticed that the wolf was looking at an area a little ways off.*
What's she looking at?

*sees the wolf looking at him and walks closer to the waterfall*

*Ami squinted, trying to get a better view and saw Jin. She waved, a little embarrassed about being seen training, and looked at the rope binding her feet.*
Wonder what this looks like to him?
*She smiled and pushed the thought aside.*
Oh well, no use being self concious now.

Jin walked closer to the waterfall and looked at ami's feet with a raised brow*
"feeling a bit tied up? or should i just say don't jump?"

*Ami laughed awkwardly and rubbed her head*
Heheh... This actually isn't a suicide attempt.
*She grinned and went on happily*
I'm training.
*Shinzume yipped in agreement, pleased with her method.*

*jin sat down next to the waterfall still looking at her*
"do as you wish but don't blame me if you die"

*Ami laughed lightly and shook her head*
Don't worry. I wasn't planning on it.
*She smiled and held her sword out so he could see it clearly*
If I fall, all I need to do is cut the rope. Shinzume's also here just in case.

*nods*
"i see"

Uh-huh.
*Ami looked over to Shinzume to make sure she could break for a second and the wolf nodded*
So, now that you know what I'm doing, what brings you here?

"wanted to see the waterfall"
*dips his finger tips in the water*

I see.
*Ami leaned over to look at the waterfall and added in, quietly*
It's beautiful, isn't it?
*Shinzume nodded silently and Ami smiled to herself. The wolf usually liked conversations that had to do with water*

*nods*
"extremely so"

*admires waterfall quietly for a moment*
I wonder how long Shinzume will let me take a break for...

*glances at her then back at the water*

Sooo... Do you want to hang out? Since we've run into each other anyway?
*glances at Shinzume to make sure it's alright*

*looks back at her*
