The Parlor

An expensive and hidden away tattoo shop owned by a famous artist. If someone were to get a tattoo done by him they would need a reservation and to pay thousands of dollars.

Adam pulled one the side curb and parked the car before stepping out and getting Alice from the back. He had his hoodie up and sunglasses on.

Minya got out and decided it was best not to question Adam's appearance.

He softly handed Alice off to Minya before locking his car and heading down the near alley to a surprisingly bright pink door which he knocked on.

He held Alice carefully and followed close behind Adam, looking around the area curiously.

He looked to Minya, "don't worry, its completely safe, they just hide it so its impossible for tons of people to crowd in." It wasn't long for someone to answer the door. "VanAllen, I have an appointment."

He nodded slowly and looked back to the door, still a little scared.

The woman nodded and stepped back to let them enter. Adam walked in first, the room possessed a very modern theme and was lightly bright. "Right this way," the woman said and led them through a small waiting room that had many works of art done by Henry Jacobs, the artist at the shop.

Minya calmed a little once they got in and he looked around silently, examining the art on the walls.

They finally entered a room with a that was filled with half finished paintings, a man stood at one and was mad at work. Along the sides of the walls were countless expensive equipment and inks, both for art and tattoos, and in the center of the room was a single chair much like one you might find at a dentist's.

Upon entering the room and seeing everything in it he only became more nervous but he had already resolved to get it over with. He nuzzled Alice gently when she made a small gurgling sound to calm his nerves a little.

Henry turned to see them and glanced them over. "Adam VanAllen?" he asked, Adam immediately removed his sunglasses and pushed down his hood. "Yes, I believe we scheduled for two tattoos." Henry nodded and moved forward. "Who first?"

He looked up at Adam, "Um... I think I should... if you got yours first it might hurt a little for you to hold Alice." he said.

He nodded and Henry pulled himself up a chair, his assistant grabbed a chair for Adam to sit in beside the larger one. Henry made his way to Minya, elegantly took his hand, and led him to the seat, helping him up.

He sat in the chair though he figured he'd have to turn over. He looked to Adam, not sure what he should say.

"Where would you like it?" Adam leaned over to push up Minya's shirt just a bit and undo his pants to tug the side down just a bit so he could show him. "A sparrow, something natural and gentle looking, about the size of his fist."

He paused, "No, you said a robin before." he said, looking up at Adam.

"No, it was a Blue Jay actually, sad that I keep messing up my own middle name. Sad that you don't even know it." He flicked Minya's nose before motioning to Minya's revealed skin.

He pouted, "I didn't know it until you told me last time." he said and looked to the skin nervously.

Henry nodded and began to invision what he could place on this new untouched canvas. Adam looked to Minya and could tell he was nervous. He rested Alice on his lap and leaned over to touch Minya's cheek. "You sure you still want this."

He nodded, looking back to Adam with a smile, "I am sure. As long as you hold my hand I think I will be okay."

He nodded, and keeping an arm around Alice he to Minya's other hand as Henry returned with several inks and his pen. He cleaned the area and put the needle to the skin but didn't start yet. "Ready?"

He braced himself for the pain and nodded, not wanting to speak and break his concentration on other things.

Henry nodded and started the gun and began to carefully work at Minya's soft perfect skin. Adam held Minya's hand tight and watched as Minya was being tattooed.

He quickly flattened his ears and squeezed Adam's hand tightly. His other hand gripped the chair as well.
