He traced patterns and designs lightly into Casper's skin as they waited together, still humming a bit, his ears drooped a bit, now much calmer. Smiling he nuzzled into Casper's neck and gave him a soft lick before pulling away.

He blushed a little, "Hn? A lick? That's new." he chuckled a little. He looked up when he heard the nurse call Cecil's name and grinned, "Guess you're up now~"

Cecilius chuckled and nodded as he stood carefully moving Casper out of the way. "I'll be back in a bit okay?" He kissed to top of his head and followed where he heard the nurses voice and let her guide him to where they would prep him for the surgery.

He sighed and waited patiently, averting his eyes from anyone else's when he found people staring. He looked down, 'It's a quick surgery... it should be very long before I can see him again. I guess I just don't like being without him at all anymore...'

After two hours or so a nurse came out into the waiting room and called out of Casper's name. "The surgery was successful, you may go see him in his room now."

He looked up and nodded with a polite smile, "Thank you." he stood and went to the room he was guided to. He sat next to Cecil and smiled, "Hey there."

Cecil didn't pick up on Casper entering the room, still a little drugged. "Hey." He reached out a hand for Casper's. "Did they tell you when I could remove the bandage?"

He took Cecil's hand and shook his head, "Nope. Sorry. I thought they would have told you during the prep." he chuckled a little.

He shrugged and laid his head back on the pillow, keeping hold of Casper's hand. "Well they'll tell us eventually, but it wont be soon enough." He picked up Casper's hand and nuzzled it, "I want to see you so badly."

He blushed a little and smiled, "Yeah... me too. But when you see me I may be a bit blurry." he reminded cecil, "They couldn't give you back all of your vision, remember. You'll probably have to get glasses or contacts." he smiled, "Which is covered by my family anyway since you work for us, so it's fine."

"I don't care, seeing you, even if its blurry will be enough for me." He smiled and intertwined his fingers with Caspers, "I think I'm most looking forward to seeing your blush. I really hope you blush a lot." He chuckled giving him a gentle squeeze.

He chuckled a little and couldn't help but blush more, "Um.. yeah, I kind of am right now, to be honest... I guess I do blush a lot." he smiled and squeezed Cecil's hand. "I'll probably blush more depending on your reaction when you see me." he chuckled softly.

Cecilius couldn't help but laugh and reached up with the hand that had been holding Casper's to stroke his cheek and feel the warmth from the blush. "I see," he smiled, "soon that will be literal though." He grinned and pulled his hand away though. "I wonder when I'll be released."

He chuckled, "It's eye surgery. Once they take off the bandages and give you some eye drops and probably some basic medication, you should be able to go home." he smiled.

He chuckled and nodded, "right, right, I just don't think I can wait." He pulled on Casper's hand lightly trying to get him closer. "Come here," he smiled and beckoned him.

He chuckled and sat up beside Cecil, "What, you want me as close as possible when you see me?" he chuckled a little and nuzzled Cecil.

He smiled and pulled him over to straddle his hips and held his sides. "Of course you'll be the very first person I'll see." He sat up more and nuzzled him just as a doctor entered the room.

He blushed a little and shifted off of Cecil, slightly embarrassed, "Um... hello, doctor. It's time to take his bandages off..?" he asked. The doctor coughed awkwardly and nodded, "Yes, it should be fine to take them off now." he said and began removing the bandages. Casper watched and turned Cecil's head so he would be looking at him, waiting for him to open his eyes.

When he felt the bandages had finally been removed he opened his eyes and shut them again. "Would you mind dimming the lights a bit...?"

The doctor nodded and disposed of the bandages before shutting the curtains to dim the lights, "Is that fine?" the doctor asked. Casper waited anxiously for Cecil to finally see him, feeling as if his heart was about to stop.

He slowly opened them, still finding it hard fro them to adjust but finally they fixated on the blurry blond dark skinned blob in front of him. Cecil was unable to say or do anything but star at Casper. He felt his eyes water a bit but did not care.

He leaned in to wipe Cecil's eyes, "Cecil... you can see me... right...?" he asked softly, "If even just a little...?" he wanted Cecil to say something, or do something. He needed at least a small sign that Cecil could see him. The doctor decided to sit in a chair on the other side of the room, giving them as much privacy as possible.

"Casper..." He reached out and touched Casper's face softly. He chuckled slightly, "I guess I'll need to start working on my hand-eye coordination wont I?" He smiled and pulled the blurry blob closer to him. "This IS Casper right?"

He nodded, "It's that blurry...?" he frowned a little and nuzzled his hand, "I hope we can get your glasses soon enough then... so you can see me clearly." he smiled. 'Even when he was blind he saw me better than anybody else... when he can see me clearly... nobody will ever compare.'

He chuckled and nodded, "Yes actually, its pretty bad, you're just this blond, tan, blue blob." He then turned his eyes around the room smiling widely at all the colors and finally looked down at his hands. "Casper, thank you, thank you so much."
