The Sunny Cafe

First topic message reminder :

A small corner cafe with large windows looking out onto the streets and comfortable chairs to sit and chat with friends.

Minya was a little worried about how Adam seemed very indifferent to everything right now and hoped someone would mention something that would catch his interest. He couldn't think of anything, however, and simply ate his lunch.

Haruhi smiled back to Minya. "So how's things with Alice?"

He smiled a bit, "Good, she sleeps through the night now and doesn't cry a lot either." he said, "We were talking a while ago about getting some movies for her soon, mostly Disney." he chuckled.

She nodded with a soft laugh, "Yeah, I imagine you two would enjoy those as well. We bought some for David's son whenever he visits."

He smiled, "His son should come play with Alice sometime~" he said happily and munched on his fries.

"Well he's a few years older, and Alice is just a baby still, we should wait for another year, but they could at least meet," Adam said to him.

He nodded, "I did not know David even had a son." he chuckled.

Adam frowned, "We've talked about him before, you should pay more attention." He chuckled and and munched on his fries more. "He'll become Alice's business partner."

He nodded, "I thought that might be the case." he said and munched on more fries, drinking his milk.

He nodded and sipped his water. "David's wife is an actress isn't she?" Haruhi nodded and sipped her coke.

He listened to the conversation as he ate, never having heard a lot about David.

"She's in that new movie that just came out, about the race horses," Adam nodded, "right, she's the lead."

He finished his lunch and finished up his milk, still listening.

Adam and Haruhi finished up as well and the waitress came by with the bill. Adam took it and set some cash inside before getting up. "Aready?"

Minya nodded, finishing his milk and getting up to go with them.

Adam smiled and led the way back to his apartment.

Florian waited at the cafe with Noah patiently.

Adam entered the cafe and saw Flo and Noah already there and joined them at their table.

Flo looked to Adam with worry, "So what happened...?" he asked.

"Just...something really awful," he said in a low voice and rubbed his face again. "Ever since our honeymoon Minya's been denying me any sex. So..."

Flo's eyes went wide, "Adam... please tell me you didn't force him..." he frowned a bit and felt very sorry for Minya, hoping he was okay. "Is he alright at least...?" he asked softly.

Noah looked surprised as well and watched concerned. Adam sighed and rubbed his face. "I don't know if Minya told you this or not but I'm a recovering alcoholic you could say... And last night his rejection just really got to me and..." he sighed looking away. "There was a lot of blood."

Flo nodded slowly, "He's never told us this... but as I asked before... he's okay right...? No big damage...?" he asked hopefully.

"No. The blood wasn't from him." He said and looked to them both not sure how he was going to approach the topic. Noah frowned not understanding.

He paused, "What do you mean...?" he asked quietly, trying not to draw attention to them.
